Summary Edit

The slime is a mob that will be added to VoxeLand as the least powerful enemy. The original texture was that of a green blob with black eyes. However, this will most likely change due to the game engine supporting much higher quality textures. A variant of the slime, the Balloon Slime, will appear in the Overlands.

Appearance Edit

The slime, unlike all other sprites in the game, aside from the character, had no noise. It was instead replaced by a soft green gradient. The slime was an oval shaped object with small squares for eyes.

HistoryEdit

When VoxeLand was still being created in GameMaker, the slime was added as a test enemy. However, the slime was too advanced of an enemy, so it was removed. When the development was switched to RPGMaker, the dev team decided to have the slime in the game due to RPGMaker being far more advanced than GameMaker.

Trivia Edit

  • The slime enemy itself did not function, nor did it have the correct sprites for attacking and such.
  • In the future, slimes will be added again, potentially with the ability to attack by jumping and creating a shockwave, or simply jumping on you.
  • The slime will indeed have other variations and counterparts.
  • In the earliest version of the game, when a collision between the character and a slime was detected, the slime would display the message, "Would you like to battle?" and give you the choice of "Yes" or "No." If the player chose "no," the dialogue would close. Upon choosing "Yes," the game would change to a screen of what is to be believed as the "battle" screen.
